This British sculptor is well known for using plaster, cardboard, and cement within her materials which completely flips your expectations of a traditional sculpture.

Known for using her surroundings to create large-scale sculptures. Barlow balance textures, objects, and colors and turns traditional ideas of sculpture on their head. Some of these pieces of art include her 2014 Tate Britain Commission and her installation for the 2017 Venice Biennale British Pavilion.

A child prodigy partly due to her misfortune: she broke her hip at the age of four, he spent most of her time drawing. At the age of 11 years old, she was admitted to the prestigious Drawing School of Helsinki’s Finnish Art Society. Now Decades later enjoy the realism and portraits throughout her journey to mastery of the art.

The Convalescent

Antony Gormley(21 Sep – 3 Dec)

Anthony Gormley is recognized around the world for his 45-year career and for his captivating art installations and this has to be his most ambitious yet! The exhibition will explore Gormley’s use of scale and light within the RA’s architecture as well as his use of organic, industrial and elemental materials that he’s used over the years.
